On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

The secret

When Steve started speaking of dinner, all I wanted was a McDonald's McFlurrie - and only managed half of that.  I did have Cream of Wheat this morning, trying to raise my iron. I'm not close to needing another transfusion, but I had three in January so I'm trying to buck up on my own. I wonder whose blood I've received, some generous person, I hope, someone who will make me a nicer person.

This is the way we get things done, get things done, get things done,
This is the way we get things done, we get out of bed in the morning.

That would be clue one to being a more efficient person, just rise and shine!
