On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Molasses is slow too

The weather people are keeping their promises.  It isn't pouring or anything, but there have been moments of drizzle and it feels as though a storm is coming in, just as they said.  Our biggest rain day will be on Sunday - can you imagine a storm on Easter Day?

I had another unproductive day, I just have to get myself plugged in to a higher quality of life.  I'm still not eating much, but I eat everything I want.

I was invited to co-facilitate a group soon, and I hope that materializes.  I enjoy group work very much, but I've always led my own groups, alone, so to work with another will be good experience.  My Juvenile Hall group re-starts on Monday.
