Happy Fourth of July

It's always been clear to me that July 4th is the celebration Sonoma does best.  The population is only 10,000 but the parade lasts a full two hours and the 30-minute fireworks display is always awesome.  Today the plaza was packed with activities, picnickers and food concessions and the mood was upbeat.  The temperature at parade time was a pleasant 72ºF, the economy is improving (building projects all over town) and morale is getting higher every day.
