Shhhhhh.... I'm thinking
Just when I thought chemotherapy had turned my brain to mush, I got addicted to WORDS WITH FRIENDS. I've been blogging about it incessantly because that's how much time I've spent online playing it. I know some of my rivals, but others are strangers. I won't tell you how many games I have going at once, but there are several. I go about my day - like today when I was finally starting my herb garden - then sit down and see who's taken their turn - then go back to my things-to-do.
But here's the good news. For the first three weeks - I've only been at this for about a month - I didn't win a single game, nada. But I learned some game playing skills, kept at it, and now I'm winning 50% of the time. There are some folks out there who are absolutely formidable - you know who you are, Timaree - but I'm a diligent student, watching for new words when I'm reading, I'm catching on and have my fingers crossed that new dentrites are forming by the hour. Don't you just love words?

Words & herbs seem to go together to make a great day! (And you've reminded me that I need to get some basil potted myself.)
ReplyDeleteIf you like pesto as much as I do you definitely need to plant that basil!
ReplyDeleteLol, well you are mostly ahead in one we are playing now. Would you believe I NEVER win a game with my son! Glad you are having fun with it. I am too. Will be driving to California on Thursday so there might be an interruption or two.
ReplyDeleteTimaree -- It's on my bucket list to win a game with you!
