On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Still here

The worst of this chemotherapy cycle seems to be over.  Ten years ago I had three cycles of Taxotere, felt well and went into a nine-year remission.  This time I'm having eight cycles and, believe me, there's a difference!  I was absolutely flattened most of the week and am dreading the final infusion.  I think the only thing that will get me through it is knowing that it's the last one.

Today I continued canceling clients but was able to see one person.  Tomorrow I'll see two.  That's the best I can do these days if I am to be alert when I'm working.

Youngest Grandson is spending next week with us - his spring break - and I'm looking forward to that.  We're billing it as Nana's Art Camp.  I should be much improved by then....
