On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Out and about

Brix & Demi soak up some rays
Steve and I had errands to run today in both Sonoma and Marin counties.  It was almost like a road trip by the time we completed the circuit.  Daffodils are everywhere and California poppies are beginning to bloom alongside the roads.  I spotted two red-shouldered hawks on high wires standing guard over the freeway.

I kept feeling like I was going to faint.  When we stopped at CVS I used their blood pressure machine to check.  86/43 - that's a little low, isn't it?
