On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Hanging in there

I worked a couple hours this morning, which was great, but otherwise I still have that low energy which seems relentless.  My eyes keep tearing from the Taxotere and the neuropathy in my hands and feet is driving me nuts.  Obviously, I'm back to whining.

The weather has been spectacular and will be even warmer tomorrow.  And then.... in a few days we're going back to winter, that's the word.

  1. The little Cliffords with wagging tails are cute and brought a smile to my face. Sorry you are feeling a bit down - you seem to have down days and then really good ones too. Here's to more good days than bad!
