Not snowing yet
Okay, so we got the cherry blossoms but not the snow. I wanted both!
That was the only disappointment. On Rte. 12 this afternoon I saw 1) a flock of Munchy Mowers (sheep rented to graze in the vineyards and fields to chomp down the high growth), 2) a herd of six deer near the highway, also grazing and chowing down, 3) a red-shouldered hawk sitting on a telephone wire. I live in a fairly urban area - not a city, but one town close to other towns - and it thrills me so much to be right in the midst of the natural world.

I love seeing wild things around where I live too, although here it's just mostly moose and eagles.
ReplyDeleteAw, too bad about the snow. We've got gray clouds but no rain so far.
