Try and try again
In my Tuesday art class we were learning to construct divided watercolors. I was not successful but am still working on it. This evening, in front of Animal Cops and Cell Dogs on TV, I tried again to draw the red-shouldered hawk I've just learned to identify. The proportions are off but I've learned the markings and head shape. Anything I draw is another opportunity for practice, that's the way I see it.
It didn't rain today but the sun never came out either. A smaller storm is headed our way later tonight and there are others after that. This has been one wet January.
Beulie is in her second heat so is back in the kennels at Canine Companions for Independence. She's so full of puppy energy, it's really noticeable when she's not home. Even with two other dogs the house is absolutely totally quiet, you know, like library quiet.
Cell dogs on TV!! LOL! Sounds interesting :0)
ReplyDeleteI like you painting and you're right, every one is another chance to practice. Great work!
Hi Shelly -- Cell Dogs is a great program. It's about dogs that are raised in prisons to become service dogs or dogs that are poorly behaved and are rehabilitated by prisoners. They usually sleep in the cell with the prisoner and received intensive, supervised training. - Barbara
