What's a bandicoot?
I came across a photo of a bandicoot in an old National Geographic and it looked so cute I felt invited to draw it. I have no idea what a bandicoot is, where it lives or if I should expect to see one when I open the garage door some morning. But here's one to help me identify the real thing should one ever cross my path.
Yup - those critters are cute. I don't think you'll see these little marsupials where you live unless you go to the zoo. They're in New Guinea and Australia. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
ReplyDeleteI believe Sherry is right, so you're probably safe in your garage (lol) but boy are they cute! You're drawing is excellent - such personality!
ReplyDeleteVery nice job. This little one looks really adorable. I didn't know such an animal existed, so thanks for sharing. It is always exciting to see what sometimes highly unusual beings and things EDM members draw.
ReplyDeleteYes, Sherry and Juj are right. The Bandicoot is a marsupial and found on the eastern side of Australia. You can read more at this link if you're interested - http://australian-animals.net/bandi.htm
ReplyDeleteGreat sketch, Barbara!
