On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Morning treat

There's something very wrong with my computer, but I think I can get it to work, at least for my blog.  It's just being weird - hopefully will reset itself itself just as it made itself weird.

The rain starts tomorrow, always something to look forward to.  Steve gave three dogs baths this morning, Youngest Daughter is our with friends (and one mom) so I don't have to worry about her - Steve took off to Starbucks.  He goes so daily regularly that they give him a ceramic mug.  His order is always the same, latté and a morning bun.

I'm propped up in bed and have the house to myself for a while. 'Tis a treat!

  1. I agree that having the house to yourself for a little while is a real treat! I sure love it but it happens rarely anymore. My sister and one of my granddaughter are Starbuck regulars too. My sister's family gave her a few shares of their stock for a fun and fitting Christmas present.
