On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

This summer is so great!

Words With Friends
Join me!
I tore away from my addiction to Words With Friends (Scrabble online) and attended my first art class since last October.  It was so good to be back!  There were some new folks and others that I recognized and a few that I know fairly well.

Youngest Grandson will be here in a couple hours so Nana's Art Camp will reopen tomorrow.  The really great thing about YG is that whatever I suggest is fine with him - from a particular art technique to shopping errands to just hanging out at home.  He doesn't need to be entertained every minute and doesn't require high energy, high stimulation activities as some kids do.  Whew!  I could never keep up with him if he did!
