On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Revving up again

Youngest grandson's manga
I received this postcard in the mail this afternoon from Youngest Grandson.  He made the card the way we make them to send to his mom.  Two hours later he was here so Nana's Art Camp will reopen tomorrow.

Parisse continues to improve.  The world is big and scary for her, but we're able to walk each day and she seems to want to go outside.  Everything catches her attention - it's all so new - but she walks at a reasonable clip and only stops now and again.  I'm determined to keep her in motion so that her quality of life is improved.
