On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Rounding out the week

I've been so busy wallowing that I've missed several classes and am not totally sure if I'm going to play catch up or just drop out.  But I will go tonight and see what it is I'm supposed to know and figure out how many projects I'm behind.

It's the first sign of life I've shown in several days.  Mostly I've been hiding out, sleeping, reading, head under the covers, that sort of thing.  This is so not what I had planned for October, 2011!

  1. I have been T such a lost of words when I read the news of another cancer you are now dealing with. You have my thoughts and prayers... my positive vibes that you will survive this one also.
