Who are you?
I took this guy's picture a couple days ago but I'm not sure who he is. We have a fair number of red-shouldered hawks in the area and I'm wondering if this is a young one. It was smaller than what I usually see and didn't have the striping that I've come to recognize - but it was a lot larger than a regular song bird. It was also in a residential neighborhood which struck me as odd because all the hawks I've seen have been near open fields - but usually perched on wires as this one is. 'Tis a mystery.
I don't have a clue either...I'm not so good with identifying birds, especially ones that don't live where I live.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... it is a very nice bird. I'm not certain what it is either, but it could be a young hawk. I love spotting unusual birds!
