On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Sliding down hill

The rain begins again later tonight, probably in the next hour. The temperature has dropped and a wind kicked up a while ago. The week of sunshine was delightful....

Wednesdays are my busiest days and it's with a sigh of relief that I get home late evening. The rest of the week is downhill, doable, within my energy level. I facilitated three groups today, my favorite being the drawing group with the boys at Juvenile Hall. It's an honors group with honors behavior and honors rewards. In this case, they were served banana splits for dessert, the only kids in the facility to receive such a treat. Good behavior brings good things!
