On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

One more storm

Another day and night of rain. One weak front is anticipated tomorrow and then we have several days of sunshine and warmer temperatures. I'm hoping the weather brings new energy because there's a lot I want to get done in the next month, mostly around the house with cleaning and organizing. You know, spring cleaning, it's that time of year.

We were visiting extended family this afternoon. Why are relatives so difficult? It wasn't the best get-together, but since they don't read my blog I can grouse about it here!

In the meantime, I'm looking forward to International Fake Journal Month which begins on April 1st. (Learn more about it here.) As Roz says, Life is Short, Why Live Only One?
