On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Sleepy start

Our family - humans, canines and feline - was  incredibly drowsy today, all day.  We took so many naps our naps were taking naps.

Up and at 'em! Just before suppertime Steve and I walked the dogs one mile to wake us all up and get some blood stirring. I was working until 2:00 this morning, cleaning and sorting (you know, keeping a New Year's resolution). Now that I'm awake I plan to do more of the same and ease it into my daily routine. I stay on top of the mail, newspapers and magazines, but somehow other paper proliferates. I swear the stuff multiplies during the night...

  1. Yes, it does multiply.

    But it also keeps!
