On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!
I'm a little amazed at how different the growing times can be from one location to the other. I've already had over sixty tomatoes and my plants looks like they've seen better days. They're looking weary from all the work! (It's been scorching hot here!)
ReplyDeleteHi -- It's scorching here NOW and has been for about two days -- our first really hot days this year! This is unusual for us in northern California. Typically tradition here says to plant tomato plants after Mother's Day. This year I saw a newspaper article advising people to pull everything up and start over (if they planted in April) because of the unusual cold and rainy weather that just kept on going...and going...and going!
