Sheep shearing
Today was the annual sheep shearing at General Vallejo's Petaluma Adobe, a California Historic Park site. Being from the urbs myself, I had never seen a sheep get shorn in any up close and personal way so I took scads of photos. For this display only four sheep were used - one every 30 minutes, not the 2-minute intervals of a regular workday.
So now you've been there too!
Poor naked baby.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo sequence. Looks like a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteAh, ready for summer now! And we can use the wool to get ready for winter. I wish I could get my dogs to stay on their backs better for brushing - well just staying still for brushing would be nice.
