On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

It's here: Fake Journal Month

I'm joining Roz Stendahl, the organizer of Fake Journal Month, which is celebrated each April. For information click HERE.

Fake journaling is an opportunity to experiment, mix it up, do things differently. Nothing really matters because it isn't a real journal, just a fake one.

For example, I never use gouache, outline heavily, use a landscape orientation, cross gutters or print in solid capital letters. But I can do all of the above during April in my fake journal because it isn't real. How freeing is that???

Please join us. Click on the link above and begin your own fake journal.
