A do-over for later on
Today I cracked open a new Fabriano sketchbook which was perfect timing for An Imaginary Visit to the Beach. I learned a lot in the process but have this sense that if I tried again I could improve.
Here in northern California we're having another series of storms. It's nothing like the snowstorms in Washington, D.C. and thereabouts, but enough that I keep hoping some official tells us the drought is over. The next day or so is predicted to be dry, but then a new front is moving in for all next week. Yay, yay, yay! I just love this active weather stuff!
Wonderful sketch! And I'm with you on the weather sentiments!
ReplyDeleteOh, love the pages! I was wishing I could go on that "trip," but life hasn't cooperated...I get to see it through your eyes, though, and thank you!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful and calming painting. Love those starfish and your shadows. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteYes, summertime is a-comin, and I can't wait, living up here in the mitten! Great job with the starfish - I can almost smell the ocean. nancy
ReplyDeleteHaven't visited here for a long time, you have been busy. Still waiting for my daffodils! Fun blog.
ReplyDeleteContinued success!
