Still at it
This miniature goat looks more like a dog, I know, but I've never drawn any kind of goat before, so cut me some slack.
I still want a mini goat. Someone told me they make awesome house pets but I don't know if that's true. If I keep drawing them, maybe I can draw one into life.
I also made two more attempts to draw those foxes. I bought more ink. I bought two sumi brushes. I bought a special palette. I followed the directions both times.
Neither turned out. Question: How many times do you use Chinese inks and brushes and directions to produce one realistic fox?
While at Juvenile Hall today I drew another zentangle and more plumeria.These were much more within my comfort zone. I try, I try, I try. (Click to enlarge.)

I felt the same way about sheep (don't know any personalloy), but found a wonderful book on "Livestock" http://www.amazon.com/Storeys-Illustrated-Breed-Guide-Cattle/dp/1603420363/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1240709191&sr=8-2 (sorry I forgot the html to get you there), that has photos of all the different breeds of sheep, cows, sheep and pigs. Comparing them side by side really helps. Fat, tall, narrow, hairy, curly, etc.
