On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Still 'tangling

A real storm is headed our way and the wind is already howling a bit. I love weather that does something! Our summers are the same day after day after day but winter can be a bit less predictable and that suits me well.

I haven't posted any zentangles recently but I've been drawing them now and again. This one is officially known as #31 and was fun because a few of the "tangles" were new to me.

I made another pot of vegetable soup because my family loved the last batch, gobbled it down and asked for more. That's just about the only menu item I cook - vats of soup - while Steve is the primary chef around here.

End of story. (I've been working today, so there's not been tons of excitement.)
