Lots of dog noses here. I have so much trouble drawing canine faces that I thought I'd dedicate a page to just the features in hopes of improving. I'm not sure that I attained my goal but I sort of like the hodge-podge as it is.
I'm still all stoked up about getting a real veggie garden started. In addition to the Square Foot Garden method I wrote about yesterday, I also want to try those new-fangled Topsy-Turvy tomato "cages."
I bought two just to be fair. I mean, if I tried one and it didn't work, I'd figure the method didn't work and it could be my mistake or an unwilling plant or a fluke of some sort. But if I plant two and they both fail, well, then I won't be recommending you try it for yourselves!
Great sketches! I have trouble sketching the dogs too.
ReplyDeleteSuch nice dog sketches!
ReplyDeleteYes, the hodge-podgeiness of this page is lovely...
ReplyDeleteAww, don't be so hard on yourself. I am one of your followers. I like your drawings and my daughter and I really enjoyed your pear painting. My daughter was inspired to do one like it of an apple. I'm horrible at cats and have two cats I have been trying to draw for two years. I found an old copy of a How to draw book on cats (I mean old, from the 40's) it helped a lot and then I took pictures of them. Some I even traced to get that feel for the form and proportions. I guess we are all our own worst critics. I enjoyed your dog drawings. Have a great day.
