On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Love Birds. Have you ever seen the magazine Birds & Blooms? BEAUTIFUL photography of all sorts of flowers, birds and butterflies. Great job! First time I ever remember seeing one in real life is when one was eating the Cosmos seeds out of my garden when I lived in Tennessee.
ReplyDeleteI like your American Goldfinch, he seems to be very happy on his little perch there in life.
ReplyDeleteI have seen Birds & Blooms! I should subscribe so I can find new models. Thank you both for checking in.
ReplyDeleteThis is really good, Barbara! I like the way you cropped it a bit, too.
ReplyDeletehow lovely!
ReplyDeleteSeems like his leg is behind the rope instead of on it .. but I do like how you handled the color (I notice this especially because I'm terrible with color) ... do you take your own photos? work from real life? :-)
