On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Back to work

While the house is being painted on the outside I sat at the table and painted indoors. I finally finished a page, this one as part of my alphabet project -- E for Eye, F for Feather, G for Giraffe and H for Hand. I have I and K completed on the next page but have to think through J and L. I seem to really like primary colors, don't know why.

I still don't have my new computer. After paying a freakin' amount, I couldn't break down and add on $11 for the shipping fee so have to wait until whenever it arrives for free. (Long sigh....)

  1. I enjoy primary colors too. I like bright colors and they are the purest but I really don't know why I like them. They look real nice on your page being the background colors.

lol. Couldn't pay the $11 more. That's funny. Sometimes I'll pay the extra and sometimes I won't. I get annoyed because everything I order comes with shipping charges and my husband's orders come free!
