On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Here's my marching orders

I got a little concerned that I wasn't getting enough done, or that what I was getting done was just routine chores and not exercising any creative muscle. So I journaled a page in my mixed media book for class and listed a whole bunch of things I could complete in the next couple months (or less). It's a lot easier to hop to when there's a known list of what needs doing.

  1. This is a fabulous idea. I make lists constantly, I can't think clearly until I get my chored from my head and onto paper. I often write bits on my journal pages but I don't believe I've ever journalled a whole page around the list...Hmmm...something else to add to my list! LOL!
