On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

And then there's chocolate

I'm on a roll! First collage, then sketch, then blog. Collage, sketch, blog. I finally figured out the sequence! I thought about yesterday's tea blog and realized that, for some occasions, tea just isn't enough. So....then you move on to chocolate. What problems tea doesn't fix, try chocolate.

We're having another gray day here in northern California. The vintners are scrambling to haul in the last of the grapes since we're obviously in an early winter rain pattern and moisture causes bunch rot. But driving through the vineyards is a glorious event -- gorgeous colors from green through yellow and red and orange. This is one of the loveliest falls ever.....but about a month early.

And oooh, See's are the very best! We can't get them around here, but I can get them when in Houston.

Loved your tea on the previous post also; I say: try both tea AND chocolate -- a sure cure!

  2. I like both the tea and chocolate collages a lot. They're really cute and clever.

OOOOoooo See's! Whenever my husband goes to Cali on business, he brings back a big box of See's. But, you know what? The chocolate he brought home from Belgium was to die for. I couldn't keep my fingers out of it. These are great pieces, nice work!
