On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

I agree with Donn that the giraffe needs his lovely long neck. I have a wonderful stuffed giraffe toy and he has no neck and I can still tell he is a giraffe so I recognised yours from mine.
ReplyDeleteLots of love from Susan in Australia
PS I pray for your continued remission
Definitely a giraffe, and he's adorable! You might mention to your husband that at his age he should get eyes checked more frequently. *snicker*
ReplyDeleteOh Dear. I saw a cow. But now that you mention it, it does look more like a giraffe. I think its because we see cows more and our brains just latch onto the familiar first. Great cow but brilliant giraffe!
ReplyDeleteNo, DEFINATELEY a giraffe....and a cute one at that!
ReplyDeleteNope, I saw a giraffe... It's lovely, I really like it... they have such a soulful appearance...
ReplyDeleteKarin
NOT at all -- I can easily tell by those wonderful eyes and ears--- he's a giraffe!!!!! good job!
ReplyDeleteWell, I certainly saw a giraffe...and anyway, your opinion is the one that matters :)
ReplyDeleteIts a great giraffe, He made my day
ReplyDeleteWho are all these people who think a cow has such a long skinny nose? ;-) Great giraffe!
ReplyDeleteIt's a girafee--cows don't have those tufts of hair on the tops of their heads. Cows have more of a ridge. I love the sketch. Nice foreshortening of his nose. It really works.
ReplyDeleteIt's a giraffe and looks exactly like one! Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I really like your painting! I definately see giraffe, the only cow-like feature might be the ears.
ReplyDeleteROFL It's a GIRAFFE. :::shakes her head::: hehe That's ok. People wondered why I was using a "mosquito" for my logo for a long time. hehe It's a dragonfly.
ReplyDeleteYour GIRAFFE is very cute. :)
Definitely giraffe.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if giraffes ever get tired of ONLY being 'admired' for their long necks. :-)
I saw a giraffe. And I´m not saying that just to be nice. :)I really like the angle!
ReplyDeleteIt's absolutely a giraffe! Doesn't even look CLOSE to a cow! I really like this, too.
ReplyDeleteBefore I even read your post, the pic came up and I immediately thought....giraffe! Well done...it's very cute ~
