The blossoms of July
All our flowers are grown in containers. The soil is too full of clay so container gardening is much easier. I wandered around the back yard and deck this afternoon drawing a few of the many blossoms that are flourishing in July. I covered a page in my new watercolor Moleskin sketchbook and drew with watercolor pencils, graphite and pen. (Click on the picture for more detail.)
Great flower drawings!!
ReplyDeleteGrids are great, aren't they for doing sets of things. I like your mileage and weight loss graph. I could have done them with them for my sketchercize blog - daily walk and exercise for a year. I did achieve those goals - well worth it. I'm one of the ones who does the garden grids. It's a great way to do it, and yours are lovely. It's fun and it really looks like you enjoyed doing it.
ReplyDeleteThank you, all of you! This WAS a fun project and I hope to do many more.....Besides flowers, I need to think what else makes up a group! - Barbara
ReplyDeleteBeautiful drawings. Great color and composition. I like the grids, too, although I have yet to try one.
