Fifty percent bird
Sometimes my computer and my scanner don't want to communicate. Tonight, for example, I scanned in a second version of the seagull I painted on Monday. This one was 9x12 and all watercolor. But then the scanner divided the work into bits and wouldn't knit them together again. At first I was upset -- I still am a little -- but when I looked at the head portion it looked to me like maybe it could stand alone. Or at least manage on its own until I figure out how to upload the entire painting.
Progress! Here is the real painting. This is the first real watercolor I've ever made!!!!!
FANTASTIC JOB!!!! Keep up the good work!

ReplyDeleteDarn right that head could stand alone! Excellent! Though he and you are no doubt happy that he's been made whole again.
ReplyDeleteAgain, most excellent, young master-of-w/c.

ReplyDeleteI have yet to take the plunge into watercolors. I will file away your obvious success with this seagull.
