On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Chickens at play

Happy day-after-Christmas, Everyone, otherwise known as Boxing Day. I'm going to celebrate B-D for the entire 2010, boxing up all the excess stuff in our house, in our garage, in my car, everywhere I see it, I'm gonna declutter and box it up!

I watercolor penciled the hens in search of a button as a mail art contribution on that theme. The recipient lives in Canada; hope he enjoys my humor, but that's what chickens look like to me when they're scratching for whatever.
