On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

The third time charm?

There were no phone calls or texts from Youngest Daughter until an hour before we were to leave and pick her up.  Oh, no, she wants to leave early....

Quite the opposite, she was asking for permission to stay longer.  According to the care provider the visit went very well.  There is still more medical paperwork to deal with, but I'm hoping YD can move in during March.  I want to be sure she'll be safe and happy, both.

Our early spring has ended and the temperatures are dropping to something more familiar.  Red bud trees and flowering pears and plums are in bloom all over the county - for them, spring already happened.

  1. Great news about the over-night!

  2. Sounds promising!

  3. My fingers are crossed!

  4. Your daughter sounds happy with her overnight. Let's hope the caregiver is as happy also.

So did you like the movie? My daughter takes me to an occasional movie and that's all I usually see. It'd be nice if I could come up with a good one for a change.
