On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Not to worry

Another gorgeous day.  It's time to get serious about cleaning up the yard, planting border flowers and thinking a little harder about what veggies might work this year.

We're hoping Youngest Daughter can go for an overnight visit to a group home on Saturday, but today I learned of additional medical orders that need to accompany her.  I was able to get some of the paperwork this afternoon but I'm waiting for the rest.  So, the visit might not happen until next week.

That, at least, is not a problem.
