Freedom!
I was asleep by 7:30 last night, absolutely and totally spent! The morning was full of errands and another medical appointment, but the afternoon and evening was about packing up Youngest Daughter and delivering her to her new home.
She was so excited! We were so excited! She is 38, disabled and kept saying, "It's time to move on." So she's living with one other disabled person and their care provider - probably a more restrictive environment than we offered here, but it's not with parents and that makes all the difference.
After 30 days she can be out in the community alone - a privilege she's taken for granted for decades - but starting off, that's the rule. Her care provider is a warm, grandmotherly type, someone who enjoys her work and laughs often. She invited us to stay for dinner, which we did, and it was a lovely experience.
I just know this is gonna work and I'm happy for my daughter. She's right, it's time to move on.

Sounds like you had a full, and very momentous day! Congratulations to your daughter! Seems like a very good situation. I hope she continues to be happy there!
