Empty nesting
It doesn't keep her from texting multiple times a day, but that sort of keeps me in the loop so I don't mind.
Today was back-to-work day and I was at Juvenile Hall. That so wears me out! The hallways are very long, the kids are high maintenance and I am so old! But girls were turned away from my group by staff. For some reason they really want to be there and the limit has been set at eight. Occasionally a couple others are admitted but staff told me that fifteen wanted to participate today. I don't know why, I honestly don't.
Empty nest at home, full nest at work....
That's awesome Barbara - to have the kids want to be in your class is a good thing.

Perhaps the news has gone out about your cancer and they just want to show support for you! And perhaps you just offer something to give them hope and hope as you know is some super strong medicine! Glad you got to have the whole family out for Thanksgiving. I did too and am still recuperating from the cooking and a bug I caught afterwards. It's worth it though.
