Drizzly day in the neighborhood
It either drizzled or rained all day today with only minor breaks. But when I called out, "Who wants to go for a walk?" both Demi and Brix ran to the door and waited for me to put on a raincoat and grab an umbrella.
We walked a bit over a mile - it was only misting most of the time - and waved at the other dog walkers who were also outdoors. But it was the skateboarding dude who was "walking" his labrador in the middle of the street who caught Demi's attention. I could feel the tug on the leash and knew she'd set off if she had the chance. She didn't.

what a gorgeous drawing Barbara. The bird is beautiful, and the background colors are fantastic! =)
ReplyDeleteI love your little bird study! Very nicely done. nancy
ReplyDeleteIf I skateboarded while walking my big dog we'd be flying. I don't actually walk her with plenty of acres for her to run in as she wishes. I bet she runs up to 10 miles on some days over the course of an afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI like your bird picture. It feels like spring.
Wonderful drawing! You are truly dedicated to your dogs. I am most impressed!
ReplyDeleteI like this contrast between the background and the bird. Nice study.
