On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Date night

Concessions
Sebastiani Theater
Sonoma, California
We went to the Sebastiani Theater in Sonoma, California last night to see The King's Speech, one of the finest films I've seen in a very long time. This is a great movie and the treat was enhanced by viewing it in the longest continuously used theater in northern California. There are Egyptian motifs around the inside, remnants of the 1930s. The community is proud of this bit of history and often uses the theater for private birthday parties and other events.

  1. Well that sounds like you had a fun date afterall! My daughter went to see Buried and she said it was the opposite of this one. It was the worst movie she's ever seen. The whole movie takes place in a buried coffin and does not have a good ending. So if you get another date night don't waste it seeing Buried. Find another good movie to see.
