On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Watch what you mix

This is what you get when you watching television news while tangling. It makes me wonder what medical students would get if they tangled their medical illustrations. What can I say, it's just the way it turned out.

What's awesome about this weekend is that rain is due in every day from Friday through Monday. Whether that will actually happen, of course, remains to be seen. In theory it all begins this afternoon. You know how much I love the rainy season!

  1. Great zentangle. It is an awesome process to see what comes out of it!
My favorite season is the sunny season all the way!
    Hugs to you.

  2. My husband keeps telling me this whole weekend is going to be rainy and cloudy. We'll see. I'd love it but usually we only get the wind and the clouds and more wind.

  3. Gee, Kelly, if we prefer the opposite halves of the year, it's a shame we can't trade -- you could have my sunny seasons and I could have your chilly rain!
