Just doing my thing

I only had two scheduled hours today so most of my time was spent doing my own thing in downtown Santa Rosa. I didn't even have Demi with me, most unusual. The most fun part of the day was replenishing my black Micron pen collection in an art supply store. I could have stayed forever and spent that much money while I was at it!

Steve found an egg -- parked next to the yellow golf ball -- early this morning when he unlocked the chicken coop. I found another one late in the afternoon, also next to the golf ball. So either the golf ball itself is multiplying when we aren't looking or someone besides Rosie is now producing too.

Steve stirred up a batch of French toast for a simple supper and I cracked open four more for a Bundt cake to take to a meeting tomorrow. We're at the point where the chickens are producing all the eggs we need and every egg is fresher than the one before. Awesome! I've never experienced such a sense of interconnectedness with the natural world before - I give Rosie feed, safety and a clean home with fresh water and she gives me .... eggs, really sweet tan colored eggs, each totally perfect!
