ONE HAPPY FOOL

On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Warming up


OMG, I can't believe I was whining about the cool weather! Today it warmed up considerably, I brought in five ripened tomatoes, and the sunflowers had to be watered twice in one day. I understand that the fog will coming rolling back by the weekend.

On Saturday #2 grandson celebrated his 11th birthday. We picnicked in a great park in Napa, opened presents and enjoyed the day. Can I brag? He also scored a perfect 600 on the California STAR testing. I am so proud of him!
