On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Look who's back!

It's been a couple years since I wrote about Beulie HERE but she's back from a two year stint in Florida and we met up with her in a joyful reunion. She recognized me instantly, broke all training protocol with an arms-around-the-neck jump up and greeted me royally. She is currently living in Napa County, about 40 miles from us, with a retired veterinarian and his wife, young adult daughter and three other dogs. She looked gorgeous and happy and that pleases me enormously.
