Growing FAST
For 30 days I've been drawing my food -- I missed one day -- and it's keeping me much more mindful. I understand now that I was eating like a chicken, all day long! Drawing keeps me more focused, one meal or snack at a time and the calories to mount up.
In the meantime, while I'm getting smaller, the chickens are getting larger! I can tell them apart now, but I haven't given them names. Do I want high class names like characters from operas and literature? Or do I call them as I see them, not so distinctive. Hmmm, it's a major decision because chickens learn their names and respond to being called.
Altogether there are six. Two each - Rock Pullet Black, Rhode Island Red and Golden Laced Wyandotte. I'm still stumbling over those names!
Good job on keeping track of what you eat. I used to be able to eat anything I wanted and it didn't add up to any pounds on me but that isn't the case anymore. It's hard to stop eating so much. I've already cut out caloried drinks except for a little milk. I do okay if all I eat is fruits and veggies with rice or potatoes but I want more than that!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are having fun with your chicks.
Oh my goodness, Barbara, what wonderful chicks--enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you both! Food & chicks, that's my life these days!
