On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Remember ye this

My imaginative drawing has more wisdom than I do, it seems. Bring on the ice cream! Pumpkin pie! Chocolate holiday log with cream filling! (Sigh...) I haven't gained any weight this holiday season but I sure haven't lost any either.

I've just about entered the 21st century (now that it's 10% over). This week I finally
figured out how to use the iTunes rewards that come with my credit card. Forget iPod, I'm not there yet, but I at least loaded up lovely, gentle classical music to my laptop, ordered speakers from the Apple store and have gentle sounds wafting all around me.

Why, oh why, didn't I venture forward a couple years back so I could have enjoyed all this for all that time!
