Just paint!
I'm not given to negativity, but when the art teacher at Juvenile Hall said, "Just paint, Something will emerge, Develop it," I have to admit my Inner Child ran and hid. I followed the directions, but take no responsibility. Mostly I think he just wanted the kids to get used to working with acrylic paint.
When we got to the next housing unit I realized I needed a bit more structure. I had been saving this wonderful news clipping for just such an occasion. It tells the story of a squirrel which, on Memorial Day, ripped the flags off the soldiers' gravestones and ran up a tree and put them in his nest. I tried to use the acrylics to tell the tale. If you click on the picture I think you'll be able to read the full newspaper item.
And now I'm off to the farmers' market where the community gathers on Tuesday evenings during the summer.
those little creative things would make delightful charms for a bracelet or necklace--they are very fun looking---and for you to do the squirrel story is really something--good design you used, too---I like this idea of yours, a lot....winna
