Strings and tangles
We have a responsive Santa at our house. When we voice our secret yens for something he always comes through. This year I wanted a Zentangle set and got it. And when he read in my blog that, as a kid, I had wanted the big set of Crayola crayons he surprised me with the 50th anniversary set of Crayola's 64 pack complete with a crayon sharpener and the eight newest colors. Plus an enormous self-healing cutting mat for my collage and book binding efforts. How lucky am I!
Here are my first five Zentangle efforts -- so meditative I bet my blood pressure plunged 50 points!
That is so cool! What a thoughtful husband you have. :-)
ReplyDeleteHad never heard of Zentangles before but it looks like a fun way to spend a bit of time. Might give it a try myself.
You DO have a wonderful Santa - but what is a Zentangle set? I think I need one - I have a very hard time with these -
ReplyDeleteP.S. sweet sketch on the 23rd
Thank you both. The site is zentangle.com for the sets and more info about them. Caution: They are addictive!
ReplyDeleteNiiice! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your Zentangles! I have some on my blog too. Aren't they relaxing? :) Marva
