On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Saturday, workaday

I have the house to myself today so I'm trying to make tracks. I'm finally clearing out the garage -- huge task -- and have a dumpster coming on Monday to haul away the debris.

But the breaking news is calling me too and it's hard to stay away when the presidential election is changing by the moment.

Even garage cleaners need a break and there's always Brix ready to sleep nearby and hold that pose.

  1. Love the upside-down dog pose! I fear I too would have been snoozing during election coverage, wherever the election was taking place! ;-)
