On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Singing the same song

We're having spectacular weather here in Northern California, 80-81º F with cool nights. Bright skies, a few cirrus clouds perhaps or maybe just clear blue.

The dogs went on a play-date last night while their people potlucked. Unfortunately, no one was paying attention and the canines either discovered or created a mud-puddle. I can't speak for the other four, but my four all got baths when we got home -- assembly line fashion, suds and scrub one, send her out for Steve to dry while another one came in. It took forever, these were really dirty dogs, but oh, they look/smell/feel wonderful right now!

I relaxed by attempting, one more time, to draw some leaves and continue on with my green experiments in search for the perfect one.
