On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Back to normal

After a wonderful Easter Day we're settling into a more normal routine.

I'm working on my Internet addiction -- instead of surfing I took Brix for two 10-minute walks and added another ten for myself on the treadmill. My daughter was home ill again so I helped her pass some time with a round of Doodle Dice, a birthday gift yesterday from her older sister.

Later I took Brix for a couple hours at the dog park where I painted this landscape (of sorts). There were so many dogs out running; most of their names are posted along the edge.
